She had only been slightly surprised when Hayes had asked her to supervise the Ancient outpost. Elizabeth Weir, PhD, was to be transferred to yet another new and different position. Who was she to wonder whether or not it was rather soon after her appointment to the SGC? She’d taken up his offer, yes, but when she’d said that she would do it she had not been expecting to gate off to another galaxy scant months after being hired.
She hadn’t thought about making a new start, but it looked as if she would need to be doing so now.
