They’re in the middle of nowhere. She doesn’t think about how many light years Atlantis is from Earth-- not the exact number, anyway. Two doctorates or not, it still makes her head hurt to contemplate it. Even when on board the Daedalus, she keeps track in terms of time. When on Earth, they are eighteen days away from Atlantis.
It’s funny, really, how much she’s grown to think of Atlantis as her home. She misses Sedge, but is thankful she is well cared for with the family that owns her now. Simon never liked her much.
