Soft ache, let me soothe you,
stroke you down to sleep.
You leave me shaking
with a longing inside
wanting nothing more than fulfilment.
I don't have the will
to take my eyes from you,
for more than a moment at a time.
So beautiful.
And yet I know I can never be with you,
no matter how much I want you;
want to hold and cradle you,
touch and taste you,
to learn if your body
is as strong and as sweet as your soul.
