Summary: Too long to wait. [2002]

---------

I shiver and I stare into the night.
Out there things are so quiet,
but in here, where I stand, it's colder
and the volume is increasing.

So many things inside that I fight.
But even outside nobody can tell me
exactly why I am this way
and I fall, shaking.

Someday, something must make this right.
Truth is all I care about knowing,
now I see clearly that I should not be here,
should not be hurting, should not be failing.

You'll come for me. Words bite.
They tell me that you are here,
that I won't be able to break you the way I do myself,
with long swords, always piercing.

I'm cold. Fading. It has to be tonight.
If I'm here an hour longer -
But you leave me, you watch from afar, watching the dawn:
it's not the only thing breaking.
