I'm not what you want. Will never be.
You stare, but you look straight through me,
as if my being there
is just a glitch to be remedied
by the closing of your mind.



You can't see inside me. Don't pretend.
I know that what you think is true
is not the way things are.
You only see what you want to see,
and in so doing you miss me completely.



I don't know what you want from me
and sometimes, I don't care.
Let me be.
