A/N: I titled this before I knew that the episode 'Fragged' even existed; they're not really related.

"It doesn't matter," she said quietly, "that I won't live to see Earth."

Lee opened his mouth to protest, but Laura Roslin quelled him with a glance, retaining her dignity even while locked in a cell.

"It doesn't matter," she repeated, "as long as you all get there. I believe that. I do. Maybe I'm some kind of prophet, maybe I'm not. But ask yourself this. Kara Thrace believed it enough to do what she thought was right under the circumstances. Do you really believe I could, as you put it, 'subvert' her into doing anything she didn't want to do, if it were something she didn't agree with?"

Tigh glared, but said nothing. Lee exhaled, staring ahead at the bars.

"I don't," he spoke finally, his gaze shifting to Tigh's scowling face. "And I don't believe you do, either. Or maybe you just want to think that. Gods know you can't be in the same room with Starbuck for a half hour and be civil to each other."
